Rev. David Daniel - Senior Pastor

Pastor David Lloyd Daniel is the son of Lloyd and Ann Daniel.  He was raised in the Healdton United Methodist Church.  He graduated from Healdton High School in 1983.  He would receive a Bachelor\'s Degree in Hospital Administration from East Central University in 1987.  David went to work for Delta Air Lines as a flight attendant in 1987 to 1994.  It was during this time that David answered God\'s call to full time ministry.  He attended Perkin\'s School of Theology at Southern Methodist University receiving his Masters\' of Divinity in 1995.  He has served as a United Methodist Pastor since 1995.  He came to the First United Methodist Church of Ada in 2010.  He married his beautiful bride Ginger in 2007.  They are the proud parents of twins, Ann and Joshua.

Dr. Roberto Escamilla - Minister of Evangelism

Dr. Roberto Escamilla, minister of Evangelism, has been working in the field of evangelism at the national, conference, district and local church levels for some time.  He is a graduate of several universities and has written several books.  He is known across the church at large as a leader in revitalizing the local church.  He is married to the former Dorothy Delaplain and they reside in Fittstown, Ok.

Rev. Bob Langston - Director of Local Missions and Pastoral Care

Rev. Bob Langston is First United Methodist Church’s Director of Local Missions and Pastoral Care.  He has taught Disciple Bible Studies and other study groups for our church.

Following his retirement from the full time ministry, Bob joined the First Church staff, has participated in seven church –sponsored VIM missions to Central America and led local work projects for our Faith Promise program.  He is the primary contact for our local aid program and the Ada Community Assistance organization helping reach those in need in our community and beyond.

Beth was born in Iowa in 1984, yet she was raised in a Methodist Church in South Florida from the age of 5.  After graduating from the University of Iowa with a B.A. degree in psychology, she attended Asbury Theological Seminary and finished her Masters in Youth Ministry in 2011.

Her greatest earthly treasures are her husband- the one, the only, and the amazing Josiah Botsford- the love of her life with whom she is very blessed; and her two sons- Jeshua Russell, who joined them in 2010, and Lucan Malachi, who came along shortly after in 2011. Only after giving birth to the two most precious boys has she fully comprehend the Lord’s complete and total love for His children.

She loves “doing work” alongside her other brothers and sisters in Christ at First United Methodist in Ada where she has the privilege to lead students and teach them that God loved them so tremendously that he sent His one and only son to die for them, and in return get the opportunity to see those same students lead radically transformed lives in the name of Christ. She feels blessed beyond all measure to get to be loving these students on a daily basis.

She started on staff in 2010, her favorite books of the Bible are Acts, Philippians, and Ephesians, favorite movie is a tie between the Twilight Series and Pride & Prejudice, and her favorite books are The Hunger Games and Redeeming Love.

Carol Hayden - Church Secretary

Carol Hayden is an original Adan.  Her husband’s name is John.  They have two adult daughters and four adult grandchildren.  Carol has many years of experience in banking.  She says that she loves spending time in the church office which is where she works.

She says, “It isn’t like work, just hanging out with friends.”

    My name is Cindy Brady.  I was born and raised in this church.  Everything that has impacted my life has ties to the church.  I began my childhood education in the very halls of this church.  I was married in this church, raised my own family in this church and I even began my teaching career, (which now spans twenty-three years) at what was formerly Methodist Kindergarten and Pre-school. It is truly an honor and privilege to now serve as Children’s Director. What an amazing way to honor our God by serving His children. 

Dennis Malm - Audio/Visual Technician

Dennis is a native of the Stuart/Holdenville area.  Dennis is employed by ECU as a Plumber, he started working in the plumbing field in the early 80's at Waxahachie, Texas.  Prior to his employment at ECU he worked at The Home Depot, Spencer Machine Works & Evergreen Feeds while in the Ada area.  Dennis is retired from the ORARNG after 22 years of service as a member of the 1120th Maintenance Co. and was on active duty in support of Operation Desert Shield/Storm.  Dennis is married to Melissa and together they have a son named Jack, he also has a son & daughter from a previous marriage who have combined to give him 4 grandchildren.  Dennis' hobbies are golf & listening to his son Jack play the piano.

Dennis enjoys working with the technical aspects of church audio & visual and he looks forward to continuing to improve your audio & video needs.

Hi my name is Stephen Harris. I am the maintenance supervisor at FUMC. I am blessed with a wonderful and beautiful wife, six kids, and two grandchildren.  I enjoy spending time with my family.  My hobbies are fishing and playing pool.

My name is Jason Parker.  I am the custodian at the First United Methodist Church.  I have worked here since February 2010.  My hobbies include reading, watching movies, hanging out with friends and family, and playing basketball.  I am a graduate of Allen High School.

Don Venable - Webmaster

I love being in the ministry and especially the First United Methodist Church in Ada.  I have a wonderful wife whose name is Pat.  We have seven children, twenty one grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.  We are really blessed.  Life in the ministry began when I was about twelve years of age.  My father was a pastor so I grew up in a parsonage. 

During my time in the ministry, I have been the pastor of six different churches.  One of those churches, Pat and I started in our den and it still is going strong in Ada.  I have always called Ada my home, graduated from ECU with a BA in Human Resources Counseling and worked for the Department of Human Services in Ada until my retirement. 

I love working as the webmaster for the First United Methodist Church in Ada.
