| Showing Mercy Submitted by: Deb Stoll | In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. On my journey as of now, you continue to heal me from my brokeness. You have shown me mercy and I have asked you to show me how to give mercy. I thank you for the situations and challenges. I give you all the glory God. I just read something that you put in front of me. I will carry it with me from now on. "When you love the unloving, you get a glimpse of what God does for you". That my Father is helping me keep my feet on the ground. Glory to God. Amen | 12-07-2011 |
| Justice Submitted by: Jesse | Father God, I thank You for all of Your tender mercies. I bless Your holy name and come before You with a grateful heart. My heart is indeed grateful to You for all that I have seen; but my heart is also heavy. I come before You today to lift up Pam. In Your word I read "He administers justice for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the stranger, giving him food and clothing. Deut 10:18 I pray that Pam and Quinn be reunited. In Your word I read “In all their affliction He was afflicted, And the Angel of His Presence saved them; In His love and in His pity He redeemed them; And He bore them and carried them through all the years.” Isaiah 63:9 I pray that Pam and Quinn be reunited. In Your word I read “Father of the fatherless and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation.” Psalm 68:5 I pray that Pam and Quinn be reunited. In Your word I read “The LORD watches over the sojourners; he upholds the widow and the fatherless, but the way of the wicked he brings to ruin.” Psalm 146:9 I pray that Pam and Quinn be reunited. In Your word I read “learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow's cause.” Isaiah 68:9 I plead the widow’s cause before You Father, and I pray that You will bring justice to the fatherless. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ I pray, and I thank You for answering my prayer. Amen and Amen. | 11-21-2011 |
| Why pray? Submitted by: Jesse | “I pray because I can't help myself. I pray because I'm helpless. I pray because the need flows out of me all the time- waking and sleeping. It doesn't change God- it changes me.” ― C.S. Lewis | 11-21-2011 |
